Take Attendance
During the attendance process, the following statuses can be assigned to students. These options allow for accurate tracking of attendance and absence reasons, ensuring proper record-keeping for each session.
Attendance Statuses
- P - Present
- UA - Unexcused Absent
- EA - Excused Absent
- NA - Not Applicable
P - Present
This status indicates that the student was present during the class or event. It’s the default status for students who attended without any issues.
UA - Unexcused Absent
This status is used when a student misses the class or event without providing any valid excuse. It marks an unauthorized absence from the session.
EA - Excused Absent
When a student is absent but has provided a legitimate reason, such as illness or personal reasons, this status is applied. It indicates an authorized absence.
NA - Not Applicable
This status is used when attendance tracking for a student does not apply, such as in cases where the student is exempt from the event or class for a specific reason.
How to Use These Statuses
Club administrators and leaders can use these statuses to maintain an accurate log of attendance for their students. Each status reflects a different reason for absence or attendance, providing a detailed understanding of student participation.
Assign the relevant status to each student based on their attendance, ensuring all information is recorded correctly for future reference.
